The proactiv system: Does it really work?
Some people experienced good results with the proactiv acne solution, but there are many who didn’t see good results. Proactiv is well known due to its appearance on TV adverts. We investigated this issue and tried to find out which product is more effective and what the actual customers are saying about the proactiv.
We compared proactiv with ClearPores. See our results:
The table below features the results of our comparative testing of Proactiv and ClearPores, including stories about the effects of the two products shared with us by users. Our conclusion is that the ClearPores skin cleansing system is the only solution that fights acne on the surface and improves the condition of the skin from the inside. Moreover, Proactive is made with ingredients well-known among customers for their unpleasant side effects.

I would like to say that someone purchased for me the whole Proactive system (cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and mask) and it didn't work any better than cheap drugstore facial clensers. I guess it cleaned the dirt off my face, but it was a waste of money. And the mask smelled really, really bad |

I have used proactiv in the past and it worked ok, but my skin was always irrited and got all red and itchy. I'm now using ClearPores and the results are better and no more itching my face and back every few minutes....... |

I used proactiv and it burnt a whole layer of skin off and i had to use a rehydration spray every half an hour to try and stop it from peeling off more. I went under a UV light at the chemist and she said it was appalling what it had done and she had seen other cases similar. |

That's weird, it looks like everyone either loves it or hates it. I've been using it for about a month and my skin is doing better, though it's not completely clear yet. I haven't been using the refining mask as often as I should; sulfur products seem to work well for me. I've had severe acne since early adolescence and I've been using the Proactiv on both my face and chest and it's helping. The results aren't stunning but they're good enough that I'm buying more now that I'm starting to run out of the startup kit. If you don't mind paying a lot, I think it's worth trying. |

I have tried Proactive twice and both times it did not work for me. I thought that I should give it another shot since more celebraties were endorsing it, bad idea. My skin will feel great but it never stopped or slowed down the breakouts. My roommate also got it at the same time I did and it didn't help her. It was a waste.... but it did make me wash my face everynight and morning, so I guess that was a perk |

Proactiv ruined by skin and made my acne worse. It has dried out my skin, and now I have dark patches, which I cannot seem to get rid of. |
